BRIEF HISTORY

In response to the growing globalization of higher education and the increasing demand for international student recruitment and cross-border academic collaboration, Ming Chuan University established the Office of the Vice President for International Affairs as the central unit responsible for coordinating the University’s global engagement.
The Office works to advance campus internationalization, strengthen partnerships with institutions around the world, and support international student recruitment and academic cooperation initiatives.
In May 2025, the responsibilities of the former Office of the Executive Vice President were integrated into this Office. This transition incorporated the University’s MSCHE accreditation responsibilities and further strengthened the University’s international education strategy and administrative support system. Through these efforts, the Office continues to support Ming Chuan University’s commitment to building an open, forward-looking, and globally connected educational environment.
